About
We only do one trade
Knowing the work is most of the job. An agency covering twelve industries doesn’t know any of them well enough to be useful.

The founder
Meet Liam
In 2026 I started apprenticing as an electrician. Not as a change of career — so that when I sit down with a contractor and talk about his business, I actually understand the trade I am talking about.
Before that: I am from Fairview, Alberta. I started an automation agency in 2024, building back-office systems for an accounting firm and a solar company — contract paperwork, website work, the jobs that quietly eat a week. Then I moved into marketing and ran it for a moving company in the States.
The thread through all of it is video. I edit video for clients and for ecommerce brands, and that is where I learned what actually makes an ad work rather than just look good. Almost nobody brings that to a service business. That is what Next Move is for.
We work with a small number of electrical contractors at a time. When you get in touch, it’s me you’re talking to.
Enquiries come to me, and I read them myself.
How we work
-
A small number of contractors at a time
If we’re full, we’ll say we’re full, rather than take the work and do it badly.
-
Plain English, and a straight answer
If we don’t think we can help you, you’ll hear it on the first call. That’s cheaper for both of us than three meetings.
-
The ads get better the longer they run
Creative gets rewritten every two to four weeks against whatever is actually pulling enquiries. Month six shouldn’t look like month one.
-
The tools stay free
They’re not a trial and they’re not bait. Nothing to pay, no account, no password. The rate calculator emails you a link, and following it opens the whole breakdown — yours, on your own phone, for keeps.
The obvious questions
Why only electricians?
Because knowing the trade is most of the job. We know what a change order is, why a day rate and an hourly rate are different arguments, and why the quote that goes out fastest usually wins. An agency covering twelve industries knows none of that about any of them.
Who would I actually deal with?
Liam, who runs the place. He reads the enquiries and takes the first call himself, so you’re not passed between people to get an answer.
Are you going to cold call me?
No. There’s no phone number on this site in either direction. Fill the form in and we reply to the form.
Have a proper conversation about it
Fifteen minutes, with Liam, not a salesperson. Ask him the awkward questions about it while there is nothing riding on the answer.
